Get ready to shine bright at SCPNA's first annual holiday parade! Neighbors are invited to light up their leashes, drape their jackets, and deck out their wagons with sparkling holiday lights and join in the fun. The parade will step off at 5:30PM and wind up and down 16th Avenue between Steele & Garfield streets, spreading cheer for all to see. Judges will award prizes from local businesses for the most creative and festive decorations, so bring your holiday spirit and your best ideas! For those who’d rather watch, cozy viewing areas will be set up along the route, so everyone can enjoy the glow of the season together.

Details:

• Meet at 1592 Madison St. parking lot. with a travel mug for your beverage, a treat to share, and your holiday cheer!

• Contest entries will be made between 5-5:30PM. Judging will take place at the parade step-off at 5:30PM and winners will be announced at the conclusion of the parade. 

• The parade route goes west on the sidewalk on south side of 16th to Steele and circles back to Garfield on the north sidewalk, and then crosses back to the south sidewalk for a block and a half to the starting point. 

• Viewing areas will be located along the route if you prefer to watch instead of walk!
